The borough of Ramsey great town for families. The town has small town charm with the convenience of being located within close proximity to Manhattan. It is located in the northeastern part of New Jersey in Bergen County with a population is approximately 14,350 residents. Residents enjoy a lively downtown and boast a great school system. Ramsey is located to many major roadways. Commuters to New York can take a train, bus, ferry or private car.

Ramsey residents love the may amenities and the 154 acres of Green Acres land. There are several parks and many hiking, horseback riding and walking trails. The town is also home to a beautiful downtown center, with shops and restaurants.
Students in kindergarten through twelfth grade attend Ramsey Public Schools. Students in kindergarten through third grade attend either Wesley D. Tisdale or John Y. Dater Schools. Students in fourth and fifth grades attend Mary A. Hubbard School and sixth through eighth grades attend Eric S. Smith Middle School. Ramsey High School serves students in grades nine through twelve. Ramsey High School also serves some students from neighboring Salle River as part of a receiving relationship with that district. Ramsey is also home to two private schools, which are St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Elementary School and Don Bosco Prep, a secondary school.
